Principles and precautions for use:
The core principle of using a urinary bag is to maintain sterile, closed drainage, with the primary objective being infection prevention. Prior to handling, strict hand hygiene must be observed to ensure sterile connections at all interfaces. During use, the urine bag must be securely positioned below bladder level at all times, relying on gravity for drainage while rigorously preventing urine backflow. The bag must be emptied regularly with urine output recorded, whilst closely monitoring urine characteristics. Throughout the process, avoid tugging on the catheter. Storage condition:
Urine bags must be stored in their original packaging within a clean, dry, light-protected, and well-ventilated environment at room temperature.
